So I’m excited to share with you three indispensable tips that will turn your upcoming vacation into an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience without sacrificing your healthy habits.
Whether you're heading to the tranquility of a nearby mountain retreat or venturing off to explore exotic destinations, use these guidelines, ensuring you make the most of every moment and keeping all 6 plates spinning in harmony.

Tip 1: Know Your Needs and Nourish Your Body
Picture this: you're on vacation, indulging in scrumptious meals, and savoring every bite of delectable treats – it's pure bliss! And amidst all the culinary delights, it's essential to remain mindful of your body's needs. Be aware of what you’re putting into your body and ensure your meals provide the necessary nourishment to keep you energized and feeling great throughout your trip.
During my getaways, I focus on choosing foods that not only delight my taste buds, they also keep me well fueled. Whether it’s a hearty PFC breakfast before an adventurous hike or pre-packed PFC grab n go meals to keep me going for a morning of volleyball games, every meal is a delightful blend of taste and nutrition.
Tip 2: Embrace Joyful Movements
Vacation is the perfect time to break free from your daily routine and try out new activities. Embrace the movement and explore the wonders of your destination!
Whether you're hiking through lush forests, strolling along picturesque streets, or trying out new sports and games with friends, movement adds a whole new dimension of fun to your trip.
My family and I thoroughly enjoy our active time in Vermont. From spirited volleyball matches with fellow vacationers to invigorating hikes through breathtaking mountains, we enjoy every moment.
Remember, it's not just about the act of exercising – it's about discovering the joy of being alive and immersing yourself in the beauty of the world around you.
Tip 3: Be Intentional and Have Fun Along the Way
A vacation is a time to relax and let go of the usual worries. But that doesn't mean you should forego intentionality in your choices. I am intentional about my choices, making sure I do what brings me joy. We love to get a Ben and Jerry's ice cream cake for my kiddo’s birthday because it is part of our fun family tradition. We have spontaneous pot luck BBQs with friends. The key is to balance spontaneity with intentionality, creating a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement.
